Hi Phil,

thanks a lot for your review and your input, that helped me a lot.

I ran all the steps and I have addressed the mentioned issues, some
things are still left though:

- the txt files in the egg-info folder still exist
- piuparts fails, but the leftover files seem not to be turtle package
related
- "Package closes bugs in a wrong way" in the changelog

There is now a new upstream release 0.11.1 being used, so the title of
this bug report no longer matches. I hope this is fine.

Best regards,
Philipp

Hi Philipp,

The RFS bug should not be closed in the changelog. It will be closed when the
package is uploaded.

The bug that should be closed is an Intent To Package (ITP) bug. See links
below for reference and examples of how to create one.

https://wiki.debian.org/ITP

https://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/being_packaged

Once we have rectified this one, then we can look at the other issues.

P.S. Thank you for the coffees, much appreciated. All donations are gratefully
recieved.

Phil

Hi Phillip,

I'd be willing to sponsor turtle.
A minot nitpick: not need to include a .gitignore in debian/,
better exclude those files globally. Look into https://wiki.debian.org/sbuild
to build without cluttering the builddir.

Let me know if you want to update it 0.12 first.

best,

werdahias

Hi Matthias,

thank you so much!

I have uploaded a new package for version 0.12.1, the .gitignore is now
removed.

Please let me know if you need anything else or if I can help in any way.

Best regards,
Philipp
