FAQ

What can I do with Eventin’s free version?

Eventin Free gives you a complete event management solution at no cost. You can create unlimited events, manage event registrations and RSVPs, sell tickets via WooCommerce, host virtual events using Zoom (free), send automated email confirmations, track attendees, generate QR code tickets, and sync with Google Calendar, iCal, and Outlook — all 100% free.

What is Eventin AI?

Eventin AI helps you create and manage events faster using AI. Simply describe your event in natural language, and Eventin can generate event details, schedules, FAQs, speakers, descriptions, and other information in seconds, reducing manual work and saving time.

How does Aisentic work with Eventin?

With Eventin integration enabled, Aisentic understands Eventin features and settings. It can guide you through configuration, explain features, help troubleshoot common issues, and answer “how-to” questions directly inside your WordPress dashboard.

Do I need technical knowledge to use Eventin AI?

No. Eventin AI and Aisentic are designed for beginners and professionals alike. Simply describe what you want in natural language, and the AI will assist you with creating events, generating content, or configuring Eventin.

How do I create and sell event tickets on WordPress?

Install Eventin, create a new event, and navigate to the Tickets tab. Add your ticket tiers (Free, Early Bird, VIP, General Admission), set prices and quantities, and enable WooCommerce, Stripe, or PayPal for payment processing. Attendees receive a branded PDF ticket with a QR code automatically after purchase. See our ticket setup guide for step-by-step instructions.

Does Eventin support virtual and online events?

Yes. Eventin includes free Zoom integration and Google Meet support. After an attendee completes event registration, they automatically receive a Zoom or Google Meet join link via email — no paid add-on required. This makes Eventin ideal for webinars, online training sessions, virtual conferences, and hybrid events.

Can I create recurring events with Eventin?

Yes. Eventin supports daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and fully custom recurring event patterns. You can set end dates, exclusion dates, and per-occurrence overrides. See our recurring events guide for details.

How does Eventin compare to The Events Calendar?

Both are powerful WordPress event calendar plugins. Eventin’s key advantages are: (1) free built-in Zoom integration for online events, (2) AI-powered event content generation, (3) a visual seat map for conferences and ticketed venues, (4) a certificate builder for training events, and (5) a built-in email automation builder — all available in the free version. The Events Calendar requires separate paid add-ons for most of these features.

Does Eventin work for multi-day events and conferences?

Yes. You can create multi-day events with per-day session schedules, multiple speakers and tracks, per-session ticketing, and a full agenda builder. Eventin is widely used for business conferences, tech summits, academic events, and multi-day workshops.

Is Eventin compatible with Elementor, Divi, and Gutenberg?

Yes. Eventin includes 10+ dedicated Elementor widgets, Divi module support, Gutenberg block compatibility, and Beaver Builder support — all available in the free version. You can build fully customized event pages without writing code.

Can I use Eventin alongside my WordPress LMS plugin?

Yes. Eventin works alongside LearnDash, Tutor LMS, LifterLMS, and similar plugins without conflict. Most LMS platforms manage self-paced content well but lack tools for live sessions and cohort scheduling. Install Eventin on the same site to handle live class registration, Zoom link delivery, attendee management, and payments while your LMS continues managing course content.

How do I manage cohort-based live classes in WordPress?

Create your cohort as a recurring event in Eventin weekly, monthly, or custom schedule. Set an attendee cap, enable paid registration via WooCommerce or Stripe, and learners automatically receive Zoom or Google Meet links with calendar invites. Run multiple cohorts simultaneously with separate attendee lists and booking reports per cohort.

Does Eventin support WooCommerce for ticket sales?

Yes. Eventin integrates with WooCommerce in the free version, allowing ticket sales through all WooCommerce payment gateways including PayPal, Stripe, bank transfer, and local payment methods. WooCommerce coupon codes also work with event ticket purchases.

Is Eventin GDPR-friendly?

Yes. Eventin gives you full control over attendee data. You can export and delete attendee information on request, use optional consent fields on registration forms, and manage what data is collected via custom registration fields. Event organizers remain responsible for their own privacy policy and data handling practices.

Can multiple organizers or vendors manage events on the same site?

Yes, with Eventin Pro’s Dokan integration you can build a multi-vendor event marketplace where different organizers list and sell their own events. Each vendor manages their own event listings, bookings, and revenue from a dedicated frontend dashboard.

Does Eventin support RSVP for free events?

Yes. Eventin includes a full RSVP system for free events — ideal for weddings, birthday parties, community meetups, and any event where you need to track responses without charging for tickets. You can set attendee limits, track yes/no/maybe responses, and generate RSVP reports.

Is Eventin beginner-friendly? Do I need a developer to set it up?

No developer needed. Eventin is designed for non-technical users with a guided onboarding flow, a drag-and-drop template builder, and pre-built event page templates. We also provide detailed documentation, step-by-step video tutorials, live chat support, and an active Facebook community.

Does Eventin support multiple languages and RTL?

Yes. Eventin is translation-ready and compatible with WPML and Loco Translate. It also fully supports right-to-left (RTL) languages including Arabic and Hebrew.

Where do I report security bugs found in this plugin?

Been using this plugin (pro version) for about two weeks. Ran into an issue where the schedule wasn’t showing up on Event templates 2 and 3. I’ve been getting very good support in resolving the issue. One thing I would suggest is that a ticketing system be setup instead of just email. This would make it easier to track issues.

I had an issue that was really baffling to my team. Thankfully I was able to reach out to the support team and they were able to assist us. Their responses were prompt and always to the point. Would highly recommend!

After doing a lot of analysis of different event management plugins, I wanted one that didn’t have a subscription service. Eventin seemed very polished from its demo and from the documentation on the website. This hasn’t been the case, and it’s been quite frustrating battling through the many links to documentation that are broken (I presume all of the help docs were moved at some point) as well as settings that are all over the place / don’t quite make sense, and features that should be standard that simply aren’t. Pros:+ Ability to host multiple events+ Ability to take payments through WooCommerce, Stripe, and a few other vendors+ Additional plugins available Cons:- Having an issue where purchases stay as ‘bookings’ and don’t create ‘attendees’, so can’t issue tickets after a customer goes through the payment process- Can’t seem to find a way to include the ticket download option in the WooCommerce emails, if WooCommerce is used as the payment gateway.- Help documents are all over the place. I’d say about 80% of the links going to help docs from within wpadmin don’t reach their destination. Not a good look.- No setting available to customise emails sent by the plugin. Plugin also has “powered by eventin” in its footer that can’t be removed in the pro version.- Template builder for events / tickets / certificates is incredibly clunky. – CSS that is generated for the plugin makes the text incredibly small. There’s no way to customise this in the settings, so I’ve had to use a lot of CSS overwrites which isn’t desirable. I’ve got a support session booked in, but at the moment I am not massively impressed with the plugin – hence 3 stars.

If you hate making money, enjoy frustrating your customers, and love acting as an unpaid beta-tester for a broken product, Eventin by ThemeWinter is the perfect plugin for you. I run a professional event business and made the mistake of relying on Eventin for my ticketing. It has been an absolute disaster that actively cost me sales and revenue. Here is what you can expect if you install this plugin: The Disappearing Checkout: The ticket checkout box frequently just vanishes from the landing page. Why? Because the plugin is so poorly coded that it cannot handle standard caching. In modern WordPress environments, forcing users to disable caching just so your basic checkout button appears is completely unacceptable. Critical Bugs: Stock synchronization is inaccurate (a nightmare for event capacity), and crucial automated confirmation emails frequently fail to send to attendees. Zero Accountability: When your business inevitably loses money because their software fails to perform its core functions, do not expect any help or decency. Their support team will acknowledge the technical conflicts but hide behind a strict “15-day renewal refund policy.” They are perfectly happy taking your subscription money for a defective product and will copy-paste robotic corporate responses when you point out their software doesn’t work. Ticketing is the lifeline of any event business. Eventin treats it like a hobby project. I have since migrated to a reliable, external ticketing platform and my conversion rates immediately restored. Save your business, your marketing budget, and your sanity: stay far away from Eventin and ThemeWinter.
