We’ve had a dashboard up for 2 years and have just encountered a bug where apllied filters do not correctly display after multiple changes are made in quic succession. and bug to show some items filtered when they are not and some unfiltered when they are fitered.
This seems related to the Looker Studio filter UI state not fully syncing with the underlying query after rapid changes. Since a full page refresh resolves it, the issue is likely in the client-side rendering rather than the data source. I’d suggest testing in an incognito window to rule out browser cache or extensions, and also duplicating the report to see if the behavior persists in a fresh copy. If it’s reproducible, capture steps and submit via Looker Studio Help > Report a problem so the product team can investigate, as there’s no direct setting to control filter state refresh intervals.
I’m also experiencing this issue. I’ve selected both NL + BE in the filter. The filter UI only shows NL, but indeed NL + BE have been selected in the underlying dataset. This also happens when I open a new incognito window in Chrome.
We are experiencing a similar issue. Whenever I add a value excluded by default in a dropdown filter which has a value included by default, the underlying data changes but the filter remains unchanged after clicking outside the dropdown.
Sometimes if a select a group of values and then unselect them and reselect them the underlying data changes but the filters remain the same.
