A Federal Consistency Determination has been submitted to the DNREC Coastal Management Program (DCMP) for the following: HUD Zoar Road (2026.0005)

Sussex County Habitat for Humanity is proposing to utilize U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development funding to construct a new development on a property located southeast of the Delaware Department of Transportation on Zoar Rd, Georgetown, Sussex County (Tax map parcel 135-23.00-18.05). The development would include construction of approximately 90 new single-family homes. The proposed activity is subject to review for consistency under the policies of the DNREC DCMP.

Comments concerning this Federal Consistency Determination will be accepted from December 17, 2025, through January 6, 2026.
