Project Description: Sussex County proposes to install approximately one thousand nine hundred and twenty linear feet (1,920 LF) of four-inch (4”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, and Two (2) submersible pump to serve the subdivision of Cherry Creek Valley, Lewes, DE 19958. The proposed force main will connect to the Inland Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on January 1st, 2026. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
