This change restructures the navigation to colocate code quality findings alongside security alerts, making it easier to triage all code-related issues from a single place.<\/p>\n

What’s changed<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

The Security<\/strong> tab is now Security & quality<\/strong> at the repository, organization, and enterprise levels.<\/li>\n
The repository sidebar section previously labeled Vulnerability alerts<\/strong> is now Findings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
The repository sidebar includes a new Code quality<\/strong> section showing enablement status.<\/li>\n
The repository Policy<\/strong> sidebar item is now Security policy<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWhat hasn’t changed<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

All existing URLs and API endpoints remain the same. You won’t need to update bookmarks, scripts, or integrations.<\/li>\n
The underlying alert types and data are unchanged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
This navigation update lays the groundwork for the upcoming GitHub Code Quality general availability launch. The updated navigation is available now on github.com and is not included in GitHub Enterprise Server.<\/p>\n
