@tats-u It may sound silly but considering winget is the default package manager, can I ask you please to take advantage of this PR and move it to show as the first option? (winget, then choco then scoop)

The order you suggested is fine.
All of the 3 package managers have pros and cons respectively. I have installed all of them.

• WinGet
  • Pros:
    • official
    • supports store apps
  • Cons:
    • no optimizations for CLI tools
      • if you install many CLI tools by it, the PATH will be longer than the Nile River or the Great Wall of China
      • CLIs are sometimes not in PATH
    • Package names are verbose
• Chocolatey
  • Pros:
    • oldest
    • Better support for CLI than WinGet
  • Cons:
    • unofficial
    • tends to be superseded by WinGet?
    • sudo required
• Scoop
  • pros
    • Optimized for CLIs
    • sudoless
  • cons
    • unofficial
    • not optimized for GUI apps
