At the moment the advertised listeners in the KafkaContainer are deduced from the normal listeners. However, in an environment with a proxy (e.g. ToxiProxy) you need the advertised listener to point to the proxy and not the address of the listener.

When you specify the advertised listener explicitly you get around this issue.
