Panel Discussion
When AI fails, the impact is no longer restricted to a screen. A biased algorithm can block someone from getting a job. A flawed medical model can delay care. An untested chatbot can spread misinformation to millions.
These failures erode trust, harm real users, and expose organizations to serious legal and reputational consequences. With the EU AI Act and new state-level anti-discrimination laws coming into force, accountability is now a core requirement of responsible innovation.
Yet testing AI is far from simple. Strategies that worked last month may not work today. As organizations embed models across products and workflows, QA teams face a growing challenge: how can they validate systems that learn, adapt, and behave in unpredictable ways, seemingly evolving overnight?
In this session, panelists Jason Arbon (CEO, Testers.ai), Jonathon Wright (Chief AI Officer, Keysight Eggplant), and Hemraj Bedassee (Delivery Excellence Practitioner, Testlio), hosted by Summer Weisberg (CEO, Testlio), discuss how teams can build testing frameworks that keep up with constant change while protecting both users and brands.
We'll cover:
Jason Arbon has been blending humans and machines in testing for more than a decade. At Google and Microsoft, he helped scale testing for Search and Chrome. At Applause (uTest), he defined the balance between testers and automation. Today, as CEO of Testers.ai, he’s building AI testing agents to help test the world’s AI-generated software.
Jonathon Wright has been pioneering the fusion of automation and AI for over three decades. At Keysight Eggplant, as Chief AI Officer, he leads global R&D AI labs division, developing Agentic AI platforms that redefine quality engineering. Beyond Eggplant, he shapes AI policy and ethics through the EU AI Alliance, BCS, and as President of Vivit Worldwide, the largest independent software community of over 80,000 professionals across 120 countries. Back in 2017, Jonathon was a TED speaker on AI with his talk on Cognitive Engineering and a frequent keynoter at Gartner, Forrester, and global AI forums. Jonathon continues to drive the evolution of trustworthy AI quality engineering in software.
Hemraj Bedassee brings over 16 years of experience in software testing, leading cross-functional teams, and building QA strategies across industries, including banking, retail, healthcare, and pharma. At Testlio, he leads AI Testing Solutions, helping organizations validate how their AI systems behave and impact users. He actively experiments with testing approaches for AI-powered systems, turns hands-on lessons into a practical framework, and translates emerging AI regulations into testable requirements.
Since joining Testlio in 2020, Summer Weisberg has played a key role in expanding the company’s client services and global operations. With more than 20 years of experience in technology and customer success at companies like CloudBees, CA Technologies, and FedEx, she brings deep expertise in building high-performing teams, operationalizing quality, and delivering business impact. Summer is passionate about making quality a strategic advantage and helping companies like Netflix, Microsoft, Paramount, and PayPal move faster without compromising user experience.
