What can be done on the free tier has been reduced to the point of being worthless, and the next step is a $30/yr subscription. I'm sick of all the software thinking they too can milk users for another subscription. I won't pay a subscription to have a handle on my front door. I won't pay a subscription for heated seats in my car, and I"m not going to pay a subscription just to do a couple things in IFTT. IFTT would have been wise to offer a $45/forever option. That, I would have paid.

I run part of my life with ifttt and it used to be a breeze in create new rules and automation. And occasionally I will search for new connect to play with. Like what everyone has feedback, the new UI is way too primitive and not user friendly. Firstly I have no idea how to view all my recipe at one go, and I need to browse them one category at a time. Secondly when I try to create new recipe, I can't even see all the connectors available and only the recommended one are showing up.

The new version is a terrible downgrade. No ability to make custom applets. Very confusing interface. Even simple triggers like geofencing doesnt work. Beginning of the end for this app. Whoever led this design needs to be given the bad design of the year award for this. Dont think the team is even looking at the reviews below.
