Playing Games and being Steam Level 50+ (Eventually 100?)

My Goal for Achievements is over 90 Percent (I'd have like over 95 percent if not for downloading MMORPGS and getting an achievement on these neverending games that I don't want to play for thousands of hours to get less than half of their achievements)

About 10,000 Hours on VRChat but most games I play are between 5 and 50 Hours to complete.

I LOVE Visual Novel Games with Choices. My Favorite Genres are Horror and Romance.

28 Hours played
2 Hour Story? Definitely NOT true. My first playthrough was 8 hours and I got a bad end. Maybe the next ones will be 2-3 hours each with skip through anything I've already read. Either way I'm sure this is a very long and detailed story.

Here are my thoughts on the first playthrough:

PROS:

Amazing ART: There are a lot of different art scenes as you play and I was impressed by how many I got to see. I was okay with that one of Mary looking at the building or the one with her tilting was reused in different scenes because even though it was reused it still felt great to have a new setting and experience.

Different Characters: Each character felt like their own person. They all had their own unique things about them and definitely did NOT feel copy/paste like some other stories do (You know where all the characters seem like the same person with no uniqueness or character) Also I love Reginald. He was such a super nice guy and very helpful. I was kind of scared when we came to the dark alleyway but it ended up NOT being a scary or bad thing. He seems super nice and chill and kinda romantic too...

Also I like how Mary is so sweet and innocent. I personally don't do drugs or alcohol or smoke or anything, but I'm not as innocent as her because bad thing have happened in my life. I LOVE being her as a character because she is a cute adorable sweetheart!

Immersive Experience:

MIX of HORROR and CUTENESS: This story has just the right amount of horror, suspense, and action mixed with cuteness and romance/friendship. IT reminds me of our everyday. We all have (usually) pretty normal days and that involves nice days and bad day as well as meeting new people that we may or may not like... Now when something horrible happens it is rare but when it is bad it is really bad and usually short unless it was a super bad thing like a death or murder or something... But I really liked being drawn into the story.

Plus we have different endings and different options and choices that we can make. And that is VERY fun and nice to have.

Interesting Music: While there could be more music, I do think the music we get is very nice and fits the moods well. i think the music is fun and cute at times but also ominous or extreme at times as well depending on what is happening and I think it fits the cartoony drawing style of the characters... Some games don't even give you much option of music and I'm glad this has cool music like it does.

Length: I love that the story is very long and I personally really like it but...

CONS:

Length (Maybe): Although I do like long stories the description wasn't honest about the length. I did get tea and maybe step away once in a while but this is definitely longer than 2 hours for a playthrough for the first time. Some players may not want a more detailed and immersive experience... I felt kinda off because I was so far into it and I didn't understand why I hadn't gotten an end yet even if it kept me worried something bad would happen...

Lack of options in EXTREME situations: I guess it's because it has to do with the story so much or because you can't expect to have an option for EVERYTHING but when it came to my playthrough My ending was with Twyla. For the story we didn't interact much because Crowven told me she was bad and not to be trusted. I spent as much time as I could NOT interacting with her but I was forced to at the end and it ended up with her being shot, her almost killing me(Mary) and Crowven being kidnapped or something... and I personally given the option would have said NO WAY IN HELL AM I GOING TO THIS GIRL because I had the scene where she argued with me before and at the end when she told me police couldn't be involved it just mad no sense. Ok so we have: 1. I'm tiny Mary who probably couldn't overpower anyone and 2. She refuses to call the police and demands they aren't talked to... Ok... Did you murder someone? Did you get in an accident in your car and hit and kill someone and want to hide the body?... Did you get high on drugs and need help getting home? What could possibly be the reason? It just spelled H O R R I B L E I D E A I'm not mad I didn't get an option but I guess I just would have preferred if there was one. I loved the immersive experience and I will be playing through all the options and see the final true ending and then update this review.

Ghosts: In my playthrough I was able to meet ghosts but it didn't really feel like it went anywhere... I hope the true ending reveals more because as it is for me I feel like it was kinda random and did't go anywhere...

CONCLUSION:

I definitely would Recommend Cemetery Mary! IT is a great game and is amazing that it is FREE as well!

Edit: I really LOVE this game so I would like to update each time I get an ending. So far my play through have been like 7 to 8 hours each bu maybe it's more like 6 hours because I do sometimes go off and read a post or a review or something, and i am definitely a slower reader. I like being in depth and taking all the value out of something I can. I love to think about it and imagine it at greater depths. I would definitely NOT be surprised if my review becomes the longest one on here. Thanks to anyone reading this right now.

15 hours in and I got my second ending: Bad Ending. Again? Well I went my first bad ending with Crowven's Path and my Second Bad Ending with Twyla's Path and I want to express my opinion on that ending and the characters. It's in the spoiler below because it contains spoilers.

Twyla... What a PIECE OF WORK she is!!! I trust what Crowven said "Twyla is the reason the Devil resides in hell" I suppose because Twyla is worse (?)... Maybe... Considering in the first Bad end she kidnapped Crowven and in the second bad ending she KILLED CROWVEN AND KIDNAPPED ME(MARY) and turns her into her own personal slave. WHAT THE F___!???

So far Twyla is the worst character I have EVER MET!!! Not only does she come off as pretentious, condescending, and domineering... But she is so mean to Mary. She makes Mary do illegal things and is so BACKWARDS that Twyla says she herself is doing it for "the better cause", She tells Mary they are not friends and admits she is using her and has no interest in her!

MY GOD do I HATE Twyla!!!! I promise you I literally had my middle finger up to the computer screen constantly saying "What a B____!!!" and "What the F___!!!"

But Twyla still implies she is not the butcher and has stated that Crowven killed a bunch of people and Reginald is the 'Butcher"... But whatever the case I think Twyla is the REAL DEMON here!!!!

Now Crowven and his friends from the first playthough bad ending.... They were kinda crude but ultimately nice and decent people from what I can tell... I would maybe be a bit put off with their language... Twyla isnt outright seemingly like that but dang she is a hidden Devil all that time!!! CRAZY!!!

I will update this with my next ending (They should come quick since I am doing Crowven and Twyla route looking for the good ending...Which means I may have more to "skip" if it contains stuff I've already done...)

Two hours later and I feel like RE:ZERO dying and repeating and never getting anywhere so I did the Reginald Route and surprise, Surprise.. Bad Ending... Of Course. Spoilers Below:

We get a lot more ominous paranormal stuff, but we stray away from Twyla and Crowven... UMM... IS this a dating sim? I definitely feel a ship setting sail for Mary and Reginald.. Ok so he does got the red flags, just like all the other characters, but he is super nice and charming right? Well. up until the end where we find out he killed Twyla and then he cuts out out tongue and we get the bad ending. Well dang! And you had me waterworksing with that Aquarium Date too that I was gonna pull out a wedding ring and propose right there. I''m sure they could have worked things out.
