- [Presenter] There are a lot of different types of penetration testing, and as a result, the day-to-day life of a penetration tester looks different depending on which types of penetration testing you do. So just for your remembrance, take note of some of the types of penetration testing that we identified in the last section. So we're going to take a look specifically at the roles of network penetration testers, which includes wireless, internal, and external and web application penetration testers. So let's start with an example. In your home, you've probably got a router modem combo device that may be wired or wireless. On your home network, you may have some TVs, maybe some video game devices. You might even have a smart appliance or an AI assistant device like a Nest or Echo or HomePod, as well as laptops, desktops, tablets, et cetera.
