What does a 1.5 degree rise in average global temperature have to do with an impending heatwave, hurricane, fire or flood? They're all connected. Knowing how yesterday’s “rare” risks can quietly become tomorrow’s business disruptions will help you learn to see the potential impact to your business before it hits. David Carlin shares a simple place to start: a physical risk (structural) scan 1. List your most critical locations, assets, and suppliers 2. Identify the top climate hazards they face (heat, flood, fire, wind) 3. Use public risk maps to see how those hazards are changing over time 4. Ask one question: If this gets worse or more frequent, what breaks? By doing this, you'll be able to surface vulnerabilities hiding in plain sight. That’s how smarter business decisions based on climate risk begin. Watch here: https://lnkd.in/grnAhvbf #corporatesustainability #riskmanagement

We've all ignored a process at work because following it would have made things worse. 😬 Laysha Ward gets to the root of that tension. Processes fall apart when they're designed by people who aren't actually using them. 👉 Understand why a process exists and how it’s meant to help 👉 Define roles and decision rights to reduce friction 👉 Focus on outcomes instead of compliance 👉 Build in room for judgment Adapting a process when the situation calls for it signals trust and invites critical thinking where it counts. 🤝 🧠 Check out the course here: https://lnkd.in/dz7qD5g5 #Leadership #ExecutiveLeadership

Sustainability needs support from the entire org chart. 🌍 Drew Wilkinson reveals that in most companies, sustainability roles account for less than 1 percent of the workforce. That leaves the other 99 percent out of the conversation, even though real change touches design, sales, operations, and everything in between. Expanding who contributes changes who benefits. When sustainability becomes part of how people do their existing jobs, the impact grows. 🌱 Check out the course here: https://lnkd.in/gQE9sZcS #EarthDay2026 #Sustainability

Most companies are doing AI change management backwards. They start with the technology. Then wonder why their people resist. At HumanX last week I talked to plenty of people who shared frustration about employee anxiety, resistance, and even sabotage! The companies that are succeeding are giving time and attention to change management. Your biggest AI skeptics can become your strongest champions. But only if you engage them in the process. So I'm making my course "Change Management for HR in the Wake of AI" free for 24 hours starting when you press play. And this isn't just for HR leaders. Any executive managing AI transformation needs these frameworks. You'll get practical tools for: ✅ Assessing your company's actual readiness (not just tech capability) ✅ Finding AI champions in places you wouldn't expect ✅ Translating strategy into language people can act on ✅ Converting anxiety into curiosity Again: free for 24 hours from when you start. Your people will eventually go along with AI. The question is whether you'll create the conditions for them and your company to thrive with it. https://lnkd.in/eipQcFZN
