Hi there, @staartmees,
This is something you should report to the Memcached Object Cache authors, we aren’t responsible to keep that information updated.
That said, you’re still welcome to try out the plugin – just make sure to have a full backup of your site to restore in case things go wrong.
Can you point me where we recommended this plugin in detail? That can help me understand the whole context.
Hope that answers your question!
I use your plugin for quite some time
There is no use to report this to the developer of the Memcached Object Cache; he no longer supports his plugin and support is dead for several months now.
You advice the use of that plugin on the first page of your plugin ‘…/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wpsupercache’
Hi there, @staartmees,
I reported this to our developers, who are going to change that bit in the plugin’s main dashboard page and provide updated and better suggestions.
The Memcached Object Cache works well with the latest WordPress core updates, but this info hasn’t been updated yet.
I would like to thank you for reporting this as this will improve the UX of our product :🌟
