What do you like best about Board?

As a Board developer it gives us the tools to basically achieve most things that we can to build. Integration of sources is pretty easy to achieve as it can interface pretty well with other sources either directly or indirectly and it can store data itself which is nice. Anything to do with logs, clarity regarding how processes have run, the countless bugs especially everything to do with troubleshooting and getting insight in how to fix issues.

The modular system of Board allows for highly flexible customization, which is particularly beneficial for Assortment Planning and Merchandise Financial Planning. The speed at which changes can be implemented during the project is impressive, as adjustments can be made quickly and efficiently. Initially, a downside was the lack of direct data integration, which led us to implement a middleware solution. However, Board has since improved in this area, offering better integration options. Additionally, many exciting AI features have been added that weren’t available at the time of our initial implementation, making the software even more compelling for future projects. Board helps us streamline and optimize our Assortment Planning and Merchandise Financial Planning processes. It enables us to efficiently manage large volumes of data, making it easier to create accurate forecasts and make informed decisions on product assortments. Additionally, the user interface is almost as intuitive and easy to use as Excel, which has greatly simplified adoption across teams. Given the fact you start with a whiteboard, the variety of applications that can be developed is extensive.

Licensing is sometimes a bit strange, lowest level of license is very limited in terms of capabilities.

As a report designer, it is sometimes quite tricky to place the different objects effectively, even with the align tools (i always need to check the coordinates value of the other element to be sure it's aligned).
