"Reliable Backups, Fast Recovery - Worth the Investment Despite Storage Monitoring Needs"
What do you like best about Datto BCDR?

We have been using Datto BCDR for some time now, and it has proven to be a dependable and robust solution. Our backups run smoothly and require minimal maintenance, while the recovery process has always been straightforward whenever we've needed it. The cloud replication feature offers real peace of mind, as it ensures that even if our local hardware fails, we can quickly virtualise from the cloud within minutes. The dashboard is intuitive and makes it easy to manage multiple clients, and whenever we've encountered issues, support has been prompt and helpful. Although it is not the most affordable option available, the reliability and fast recovery times make it a worthwhile investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Datto BCDR?

The only drawback we've noticed is that local storage can become full rather quickly if retention policies are not managed properly. This means it requires some ongoing monitoring to prevent any space-related problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Datto BCDR?

So the best way to put it is that we barely need to use the functionality of this form of Datto

everything has been running so smoothly that we havent needed to often use the backup restores on this product

we only check our backups daily to ensure everything is still working optimally and even if there is a small discrepency Datto would alert us about anything even if it is a storage space issue which we can immediately remedy since everything gets detailed and sent to our autotask as a ticket

its so easy to setup as long as you have made sure your RMM agent is configured correctly

and it works on everything that you can think of Mac Linux Windows all of it works even from mobile platforms

Customer support is a pinnacle as they are just an email or a call away its Kaseya they are amazing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Datto BCDR?

I find that Datto BCDR could improve in several areas. The interface can initially feel overwhelming and there is a learning curve for new users. Tasks such as managing multiple devices or tweaking advanced settings could be more streamlined. While reports and logs are detailed, navigating them sometimes requires too many clicks to find specific information. Furthermore, the pricing can feel a bit high for smaller environments. Overall, though it's a strong platform, a cleaner user interface and more intuitive workflows would enhance its usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
