"Great Support - Great Product"

What do you like best about Fingerprint?

Adding Fingerprint to our platform delivered an immediate return. Our confidence in shutting down fraudulent or repeat abusers within seconds has saved us thousands in revenue as well as given us the ability to introduce other revenue driving promotions. What do you dislike about Fingerprint?

The online merchant portal could have a few more ways to produce reports for certain properties like Smart Signals or average confidence score. Ability for webhooks makes this sort of reporting and data collection easily possible but having some built in reporting tools to start with would be a nice to have. What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you?

Giving us the ability to identify with confidence if a fraudulent user tries to come back to our platform. We are now better able to shutdown any potential fraudulent transactions before they happen as opposed to discovering them later whether other internal reporting or worse case scenario a chargeback already occurred. Recently we enabled Fingerprint at user sign up for Promotional Offering which would not have been as effective with other unique user identifying properties to give us confidence to push forward with the promotions. "Effective API & Dashboard, But Pricey for SMBs"

What do you like best about Fingerprint?

I appreciate how Fingerprint identifies alternate accounts effectively and is supported by a clean dashboard. The simple API is another feature I value, as it made integration straightforward, and the dashboard provides a convenient platform to investigate alt accounts when necessary. What do you dislike about Fingerprint?

I find the VPN/proxy detection feature quite unreliable, which forces me to use an additional external API to fill this gap. This integration is cumbersome and not ideal for my workflow. Additionally, the pricing model of Fingerprint is quite high for a small business user like me. The requirement for a base price rather than a pay-as-you-go option makes it financially challenging. Despite the benefits, I'm considering switching to a competitor that offers better pricing, but high vendor lock-in challenges the transition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
