"Quick, cumbersome, but overall effective and allowing for full transparency"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

Like the abilty to pull information from Salesforce and getting things updated quickly. Used all the time to get deals out and have Docusign information pull through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

Abilty to get notifications when things were viewed was a problem before but recently noticed we have it tied into our slack and that is getting us information quicker. It was a bit rough to implement at first, but once we got going, things were just well. So far it has not been needed to contact support as we have been able to figure things out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from McKenzie Gregory of Ironclad

We're thrilled to hear that Ironclad has been overall effective for your needs, especially in pulling information from Salesforce and providing transparency in the deal cycle. We're here to support you if you encounter any issues in the future. Thank you for your feedback!

"Easy to use, effective contract management tool - Highly Recommend"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

I've used Ironclad at a few companies now, and mainly utilize it to generate NDAs, MSAs and other legal agreements between vendors and supply chain teams.

A few highlights as to why I like Ironclad:

1. The UI is straight forward, and fairly simple to get started right away. While Ironclad has settings and filters you can play around with, you can jump right in and and use it as-is without any modifications.

2. The connection to Slack is helpful to send me updates as to when signatures are sent out, received, or workflows are initiated or cancelled.

3. I'm a big fan of the metrics that Ironclad tracks around # of turns to complete an agreement, total time agreements take from initation to signature, and more. Having access to that data any time I need it, helps me pinpoint where our opportunities are to improve our process.

4. A lot of companies we work with will have their own tool they use for redlines, and that works fine with Ironclad. For example, we have a partner that works in a different contract management tool. We're able to download our redlines as either a Word doc or PDF, and send it back to them to upload into their system. Then we can upload their redlines as they send it back. Alternatively, the vendors can redline agreements right in Ironclad themselves. So it gives teams flexibility to handle everything in Ironclad, or just the pieces that they want.

5. It's easy to change signers, add participants, add approvers, etc into workflows. So Ironclad remains flexible with any team changes on either side.

6. I like that you can also create workflows that ask you if any other workflows exist for the same vendor. So you can make electronic connections between the two. It's helpful to track historical agreements to ensure one doesn't contradict the next. And on the same lines of historical agreements, the repository is great. Straight forward, but easy searchability and ability to filter by any number of things, dates, contract values, expiration dates, etc.

I personally haven't had to use the customer support feature, so I cannot speak to that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

My list of dislikes is far shorter:

1. I would like if Ironclad could accept additional file formats. Sometimes we see credit applications as an excel doc, and we have to convert to pdf/word before uploading.

2. Sometimes the "convert to word" functionality when uploading as a PDF causes some wonky formatting issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from McKenzie Gregory of Ironclad

We're thrilled to hear that Ironclad has made contract management a breeze for you and that you find the data metrics helpful for improving internal processes. We'll certainly take your feedback on additional file formats and the 'convert to word' functionality into consideration for future improvements.

"Ironclad is an absolute treat to use; top of the line"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

The UI and UX is fantastic. The tool is very intuitive to use and the team is constantly building and working on new features. Their sales and support team feel above bar for the SaaS industry. This tool has been a game changer for processing and storing contracts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

The process for adding/removing/changing names of metadata tags for finalized contracts in the repository can be a little bit frustrating.

Is expensive compared to some competitors we looked at.

Would like to see some additional procurement features in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mikaela Waters of Ironclad

Thank you for the thorough and thoughtful review! These are so helpful for other companies evaluating CLMs, and we are very grateful. "Ironclad saves the Legal Department time and money."
What do you like best about Ironclad?

The most helpful thing about Ironclad is the automation, generation, and storing of the data within the system. We use the system to process our numerous amounts of contracts and secure signature process. Our sales team and all of our teams use the system with ease. We have contacted and been in constant contact with Ironclad support and they always assist whenever possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

One of the downsides to using ironclad is the tracking of metadata in which unless it is properly coded, it makes for a long process of storing and utilizing metadata. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from McKenzie Gregory of Ironclad

It's great to hear that Ironclad is benefiting your team by streamlining the generation and storage of agreements. We're committed to continuously improving our system to better meet your needs. Thank you for the feedback!

"Excellent CLM System"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

I have been using Ironclad for a little over a year now, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every way. It has streamlined the automation of our contract processes, making them more efficient and reliable. Implementing Ironclad was a breeze, thanks to its user-friendly interface and comprehensive support. The customer support team has consistently impressed me with their quick responses and assistance, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Not only does Ironclad make my job easier, but it has also garnered praise from our business owners for its ease of use. It's a game-changer for our contract management needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

While Ironclad is a robust legal contract management system, there are some features I feel are missing , although I understand that no system is 100% perfect. For example, the turn tracking feature, and the limitations of only showing Internal v. Counterparty, I wish Internal would be expanded to be able to select which internal department the contract is currently with. This is not a deal breaker, but it would make pulling metrics for contracts a little easier for me. Overall, while Ironclad has its strengths, there's always room for improvement to better suit our specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Using Ironclad has made executing and searching for contracts so much easier."
What do you like best about Ironclad?

Automated features like emails to counterparties and filing executed contracts to the repository have taken a lot of the leg work and need for follow-ups out of the contract execution process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

It was a lot to take in at first, but I feel that had more to do with learning and navigating all of the new functionality that our old system lacked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from McKenzie Gregory of Ironclad
