I am frustrated with Lead Connect because the tool does not consistently perform as promised. It fails to deliver the expected number of invites daily and incorrectly counts duplicates. The customer service experience was particularly poor; it was rude and dismissive, to the point of suggesting that writing a negative review wouldn't matter. The reliance on a Chrome extension and having my computer turned on limits functionality, and there's no capability for my team to easily view activity or use a dashboard. Additionally, the system feels clunky, especially the billing page, which was empty. Overall, it is not intuitive or user-friendly. I also experienced difficulty during the initial setup, making the transition challenging. We chose it for its cheaper price, but it turned out to be a case of 'cheap being nasty.' The platform didn’t perform as promised. It failed to fire daily and never reached the 30 invites per day it claimed. Instead, it repeatedly attempted to send connection requests to the same people and counted those duplicates as “invites” rather than skipping profiles it had already contacted. Another major flaw is that LeadConnect relies entirely on a Google Chrome extension. This means the tool only runs if your computer is on and Chrome is open — far from ideal for an automation tool meant to run in the background. Even more disappointing was the customer service. When I reached out for support, my concerns were dismissed before they even looked at the video evidence I provided. The representative, Arpan, responded with unprofessional comments such as, “You’ll be hearing from us in 72 hours, enjoy the delay,” and, “If you can’t understand simple English, it’s your problem.” When I mentioned that my billing page was empty and I couldn’t see my latest charge, he told me I was “holding him up” instead of addressing the issue. The billing page itself is another problem — it doesn’t show past payments, invoices, or charges, leaving no transparency for users. Overall, the tool feels cheap, poorly built, and full of errors. In short, the combination of poor performance, technical limitations, missing billing visibility, and shockingly rude support makes LeadConnect a tool I can’t recommend. If you need dependable LinkedIn automation, look elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
