- [Instructor] The next pillar for your cloud security program would be threat management and security assurance. So far, we have looked at identity, data, asset inventory, and other pillars that are important for your foundational pieces of a cloud security program. Once your cloud security program is operational and up and running, there are some threat management and security assurance activities you would have to also consider to be the pillars of your cloud security program. Now, challenges with threat management do exist in cloud, where a threat model for an application hosted in cloud would not be the same for the same application hosted on-premise. The threat response scenarios would also need to change based on resources being a mix of cloud service-provided services, like PaaS or IaaS or SaaS, or maybe even using third-party services for providing real-time response using automation.
