- If you're looking for ways to recoup some of the costs of your event, sponsorships may be a great option. But which companies do you invite? How do you decide? Who would be a great fit and who to reach out to? First, consider your audience. Ask yourself, "Which companies would our audience love to see, meet and learn from?" Make a list of those organizations. And it may be a long one. Don't worry. Then think about the opposite perspective. Which companies would love to see, meet, and talk to your event's audience? Make that list. Again, don't worry if the list gets too long. The more choice you have, the better. Now, do you see any overlap between the two lists? That's where you want to start.
