New vulnerability research
- Let's talk about new vulnerability research. We've been through so much information on this path, it's downright head-spinning. I shouldn't be surprised if your brains are running out of your ears, and I would expect you to keep on going over it and reading more and related articles just so that it all starts to come together for you. Why would you want to, after all of this study that we've done, research for new vulnerabilities as they come out? Because new vulnerabilities will continue to come out. There's no end in sight, I'm sorry to say. The number of software vulnerabilities continues to skyrocket. New vulnerabilities are often discovered much later in an existing app. I mean, we didn't know that there was this vulnerability here. We didn't know that it had this problem. We'll find out years later, sometimes, in popular apps, frameworks, libraries, that there's this new vulnerability. So you're always going to have to be watching. It's like running in place, really. Where can…
