- One of the main benefits of embedding UXers on agile teams is the ability to collect feedback to help make timely design and product decisions. For example, you could run a usability test to figure out which version of an interaction to implement the next sprint. This kind of tactical, evaluative work is usually focused on assessing existing solutions or validating hypotheses about new solutions. To enable research to happen quickly enough, set a regular, predictable, frequent cadence for experimentation. This holds teams accountable for incorporating experimentation, provides visibility, consistency, and the opportunity to collaborate, and helps ease some of the logistical pain of conducting frequent research. Go ahead and commit to some sort of experimentation every cycle and make sure that it gets integrated into the team's plan.
