- In this episode, we want to explore the deployment strategies. So remember, tactics are low-level procedural tasks, things that we do to implement our strategy. The strategy is the overall way we think about something, right? The overall plan for what we want to accomplish, you might say. So within cloud, we have different strategies or ways of thinking about deploying or implementing cloud solutions. The first one is the blue-green solution. This simply means that we're going to maintain two production environments, the blue environment and a green environment. And what we do is we prepare that duplicate green environment, and then we deploy the new version to that green environment. We keep our existing system running while we're deploying the second system. Then we're going to run tests and validation on the green environment, and we might actually do pilot rollouts and then even do staged rollouts. So…
