- [Instructor] Imagine you just walked into a room full of people. And everyone is talking about things that are really important. You know that your response to that is to listen out to the most important information to you in all that noise. Databases that support systems have a ton of data that we never need, but we have to deal with it, because it lives alongside the more meaningful data we do need. If you Google noise and data, you'll hear a lot more about noise as it applies to different types of data and data requirements. For the purposes of what we're learning at this stage, noise is just overall not meaningful information. It's really not a part of our requirement, it's just information that gets in the way of the true sound of what we're trying to accomplish.
