(bright music) - [Instructor] Now let's take a look at how we can check our network settings on an Apple iOS device, like an iPad or an iPhone. Here I'm on my iPad Mini, and if I go into Settings, we can select Wifi, and we can see the SSID, the service set identifier. In other words, the wireless network name to which I'm connected. I'm connected to WALLACE-HOME. If I want to see more information about that, I can tap on I for information. We can see that this iPad has an IP address of 172.16.107.233. We've got a 16 bit subnet mask, and the default gateway is 172.16.1.1. And there's not a lot of extra information we can get natively from the iPad. However, we can get various third party utilities to give us some extra network information. And I don't have any affiliation with this app developer, but one that I use a lot is Net Analyzer Pro.
