(light distorted music) - [Presenter] Now that we've considered some of the different security threats to our network, we're going to begin in this module to consider how to protect ourselves against those threats. And we're going to do that with a collection of security tools. But here in this video, let's take a look at the three big goals of network security. And these three goals come together to form the CIA triad. The C in CIA is confidentiality. The goal here is to protect our private information. We don't want somebody getting in and looking at our financial data, information on our employees, research and development projects. We don't want to keep those sorts of things private.
