- [Narrator] In this video, we'll consider threats to AI workloads. AI is an umbrella term for many families of capabilities. This is how we experience driverless cars, voice recognition, imaging, optical recognition, and various abilities for many years, incredible amounts of computational power needed to support this continually growing space. This course doesn't address the many families of AI, but focuses on the superstar of the family, the most significant market driver, generative AI. For a GenAI to function effectively, it requires a substantial amount of data, commonly referred to as a large language model. This data trains the model to respond independently to its environment, such as answering a question about suggestions for developing a travel plan. But what if the AI agent gives misleading information about travel plans based on false distances, timing, location, or dangerous activities? These are examples of risk.
