- [Instructor] I will conclude this course with a strategy and a technology. The strategy will be zero trust and the technology will be artificial intelligence in this domain of related technologies and strategies. It only accounts for three questions on the exam. First up is zero trust. The first objective from a technical perspective of zero trust is to establish a protective framework. This framework represents a paradigm shift in cybersecurity in several ways. Instead of focusing on physical systems and locations to determine security, protecting business critical data and assets is paramount. Defining separate security measures inside and outside of a perimeter is no longer effective because internal users and systems should be treated as untrusted. Reduced management overhead is a another technical objective introduced through zero trust security by granting explicit access only to resources that can justify the need and only for the necessary duration.
