- [Instructor] Hi, everyone. Let's talk about implementing security controls. In this lesson, we will talk about the core concepts behind security controls. We'll talk about basic types of security controls. And finally, we will also talk about security strategies and monitoring. So, what is a security control? As the name implies, security control means that the safeguards and countermeasures that you will be implementing to mitigate, lessen, or avoid a security risk. This can be done at technical level, known as technical control. Similarly, there are physical controls, administrative controls, compliance-level control, and also, you can implement some of the security controls by implementing extended audit and review.
