Aligning controls
- [Instructor] Grouping controls in the align and distribute functions are a quick and easy way to design a good looking, functional layout. Grouping is very simple. Just take your mouse and drag it over the items you'd like to group. And once they're selected, right-click and click the option to Group. And you'll see now that they are grouped, you can drag them together and resize them. Grouped items are marked by either solid blue lines or dashed blue lines. Ungrouping an item is just as easy. You right-click it and click Ungroup. And now they can be moved independently. Now, if you've created a group control that you think you'd like to use in many layouts, you're able to add that control to your palette through the right-click menu, just do add to palette, and it will show up in a tab called My Group Controls, and you can change the name very easily by selecting and say new control.
